World Quantum Year 2025

The year 2025 is World Quantum Year, and at FCHS, we are dedicated to advancing research that deepens our understanding across various fields, including quantum phenomena. Through careful and innovative studies, we are exploring the subtle forces at play in nanoscale systems. Recently, a group of researchers investigated an innovative method to control the Casimir Force CF. For instance, in the context of health, it is essential to understand the CF across thin DNA films. These forces might influence DNA stability, condensation, and decondensation. Our team found a way to act on external laser beams in order to control nano-devises called nano-electromechanical systems (NEMS) and micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) and to switch the CF from being attractive to repulsive under specific conditions. This allowed us to make a USA patent
