I am delighted to share the success of our recent Cultural Day event at Fatima College of Health Sciences (FCHS), a true reflection of our commitment to celebrating diversity and fostering cross-cultural understanding. As the head of the Psychology Department, I am grateful to have been part of the team that organized this remarkable event, alongside Dr. Nida Khan who coordinated the day. Inspired by the vibrant multiculturalism of Dubai’s Global Village, Cultural Day united students, faculty, and staff from various departments to showcase cultures from around the world. Through collaborative efforts, our campus became a hub of cultural exploration, with booths representing traditions, cuisine, and customs from diverse nations. The event left a lasting impact, reinforcing the beauty of diversity and the valuable contributions of each culture to our collective human experience. I extend heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed, and I look forward to continuing to embrace and celebrate our community’s diversity.
